firefox stop pissing me off
a common use case of my daily routine before firefox 3 appeared on sid:
- open liferea
- open evolution
- open iceweasel (aka firefox)
- open emacs
- put music with emms
- while unread_items > 0, read the interesting items of the feeds loaded in liferea, and click in the interesting links
- read the mail, and if somebody sent me a link, then follow it
- check all the links opened in iceweasel

hi there,
first of all thank you very much i had been looking for a solution to that ff3 behaviour for a long time. I have aquestion tho, the thing is that when i click on an interesting link in liferea firefox doesn't focus anymore, right, but i'd like the new tab to be focused within firefox, internally, so i can see in the program list on my desktop panel wether i clicked on it or not.
gracias!
that can be done with
Edit > Preferences > Tabs
and enable the option 'When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it inmediately'
de nada! :D
omg so obvious....
merci merci
adios!
i'm the same anónimo again,
activating that option in the firefox preferences doesn't work as expected, i mean, it does focus on the new tab when you are already navigating udner firefox but it does not in case you are reading news on liferea. if you happen to find a solution, here i'll be :)
muchas gracias de todas formas ;D
